The EMPOWERED Group Programme™
Are You Tired Of:
- Constantly thinking about food
- Going on and off diets
- Not being able to keep food you enjoy in the house in case you binge on them
- Beating yourself up for being ‘bad’ or ‘addicted’ to food
- Obsessing about your weight and everything you eat
- Avoiding mirrors, photos and events because you hate how you look
- Feeling overwhelmed about how to ‘be good’ and eat healthily
It doesn’t have to be this way.
By the End of This Programme You Will:
- Know how to respond to your inner critic and be kinder to yourself so you can finally feel free and happy around food.
- Feel more connected with your hunger and fullness signals, so you can eat more intuitively.
- Know how to shift your focus to taking care of your body rather than how to change or shrink it.
- Have a set of tools to help you to cope when you feel awful about your body, so this doesn’t hold you back from enjoying life.
- Understand how to eat healthily without using rules or restriction, so that you nourish your body, feel great and break free from diets.
- Feel less stressed about meal planning and prep, so that you can focus on enjoying your food and living your life.
- And lots more like how to: unpack unhelpful food thoughts, get clear on your values and motivation, set boundaries with diet and body chat, stop worrying about portion sizes, eat mindfully, create balanced meals and snacks, make meal planning and prep less daunting, treat your body with more respect, surround yourself with more positive body image messages (and more).
Hi I’m Maeve, I’m an expert in disordered eating and food freedom, so my specialty is helping people to heal their relationship with food and break up with diets once and for all. I do this by creating a safe space and empowering you with realistic, helpful, evidence-based strategies that really work.
I began my career in the NHS before branching out into private practice and sharing evidence-based nutrition messages online and on social media. During this time I saw just how many people struggle with their relationship with food. While my training covered eating disorders, I noticed a big gap for those who don’t meet the criteria for a formal diagnosis but really struggle with disordered eating. I also saw repeatedly how unhelpful and damaging the focus on trying to lose weight was. So when I discovered the transformative power of Intuitive Eating and other disordered eating recovery approaches—for both my clients and myself — I knew this was what I needed to focus my career on.
Years of training and experience have led me to support countless people to break free from diets, eat better, and heal their relationship with food. This inspired me to create this group program, offering you access to my proven methods at a more affordable price than 1:1 sessions, within a supportive group setting designed to help you to finally make peace with food.

FAQS
1. Who is this group programme for?
This is for you if:*
- You’ve tried countless diets that haven’t worked in the long run.
- You want to feel free, in control and happy around food.
- You want food to play a positive and enjoyable role in your life, rather than being a source of guilt or shame.
- You’re interested in reconnecting with your body’s natural cues for hunger and fullness and learning to eat more mindfully.
- You value evidence-based information when it comes to food and nutrition.
- You think and talk about your body in an unkind way — beating yourself when you gain weight, when clothes don’t fit, or when you feel that you look too big in a photo
- You don’t feel like you have the right tools or coping strategies to help on bad body image days
- You don’t want bad body image to rule your life anymore
- You want to eat healthily without resorting to restrictive diets or food rules.
- You lead a busy lifestyle and need practical and realistic solutions when it comes to meal planning and food prep.
Please note: this course is not designed as a sole treatment option for those with an active eating disorder, and it does not provide guidance on how to lose weight.
2. When do the calls take place?
The next programme will run between the 2nd of October until the 4th of December. The group calls will alternate each week between Wednesday evenings at 7-8pm (BST) and Wednesday lunchtime at 1-2pm (BST). There may be some flexibility with this depending on what suits group members best. Your one-to-one 45-minute personalisation call will be arrange at a time that suits you within the first few weeks of the programme.
3. Are the calls recorded?
The first half of the calls will be recorded — this is where I will be highlighting key information and doing some interactive and reflective activities, I will also answer any questions that have been submitted in advance so you can get an answer if you can’t make it live. The second half of the calls won’t be recorded to provide a safe space where group members feel comfortable to open up and ask more questions. I can also pause the recording at any time if we hit a sensitive topic or at the request of a group member.
4. How much does this programme cost?
The full price of this 10-week programme is £699, but the current founding member’s presale price is £349 (50% off!) — this low rate ends on the 17th of September and won’t be available again. This is a huge cost saving compared to working through this information and resources in one-on-one clinic sessions with a Dietitian which would cost at least £2160 (based on 18 hours of 1:1 sessions).
5. How much time is involved?
At the start of the programme you get a 45-minute 1:1 call with me (Maeve), and there are weekly 1 hour group calls for 10 weeks. There will also be some homework each week which should take roughly an hour (watching videos, doing guided meditations, journaling etc.). So overall, it should take up 2 or 3 hours per week, but you can make it work for you and spend more or less time depending on what works. This is an intensive course that has been designed with busy people in mind, I’ve distilled what I would usually cover in 7 to 9 months of 1:1 sessions into 10 weeks, so you can get the most out of it in a shorter amount of time. But you can spend as much extra time as you need to go over the material and exercises.
6. How involved do I have to be in the group?
This is entirely up to you, but the more actively involved you are, the more you will get out of it. During your 1:1 personalisation call with me you’ll find out which sessions will be most important for you to attend to get the most out if it, in case you can’t make all sessions. Half of the live sessions will be recorded, as explained above, and you can submit questions anonymously in advance or during the group calls. You can also choose whether you turn your camera or mic on or not.
7. How big will the group be?
For this launch there will be 15 max spots available on the programme, to keep the group small enough so that you feel comfortable sharing with each other and so that I have enough time to dedicate to each person.
8. What does it mean to be a founding member of this programme?
This means you will be signed up for the first launch of this course and you get the following perks:
- Access to the programme at the lowest price it will ever be.
- The opportunity to shape parts of the programme – I’ll be spending extra time during this first launch to make sure the programme gives you what you need, so you can let me know if there’s anything else you would like me to add (and I’ll do my best to provide this for you).
- Guaranteed input from Maeve — in future versions of this programme I may have more support from my team members, but for this launch I’ll be doing all the 1:1 and group calls myself as well as moderating the group chat.
As well as these perks, you get my eternal gratitude! Because being a founding member means that you’re supporting the work we do, so we can continue our mission to help as many people as possible to heal their relationship with food. Essentially, signing up for this launch makes it more likely that this programme will exist now and in the future (as it will only go ahead if enough people sign-up).
*Please note: Although this programme provides lots of useful tools and information for healing your relationship with food, this is not intended to replace one to one support if you have a clinical eating disorder. If in doubt, always seek individual advice. These courses do not promote or provide information about how to lose weight. Please read the full terms of purchasing this online course here.
